June 9 - Mission San Antonio Fiesta. Head to Monterey’s South County and Fort Hunter Liggett (near San Antonio Lake) to attend the Fiesta Mass at this historic mission.
It is a fun filled day for all beginning with a special Fiesta Mass at 9 a.m. ending with a procession from the church to the Fiesta grounds, signaling the beginning of the festivities that go until 2 p.m. A traditional oak-fired barbeque offers you a choice of half-chicken or tri-tip beef dinner.
