March 2 - 4 - Jazz Bash by the Bay features top national jazz bands, local youth bands, swing and other forms of classic jazz at in the Portola Plaza Hotel and Fisherman's Wharf. For more information go to www.jazzbashmonterey.com


March 17 - Rainbows and Leprechaun Magic at the Lyceum of Monterey.Explore color theory based on the colors of the rainbow. Watercolor paints and some fun techniques will provide the "magic". And maybe you will find some gold! Ages: 8 - 13 from 3pm to 5pm. Limited to 8 students, $35. To register go to www.lyceum.org

March 26, April 9 – Awesome Adopters ($85 per camper)
Adopt your very own “pet” and learn all about how to be the very best pet parent you can be. **Campers adopt plush pets, not actual animals

Ever wanted to volunteer at the SPCA? Be a junior volunteer for a day and help homeless animals in need!

March 28, April 11 – Future Vet
Ever wonder how we keep our pets healthy and happy? Get a taste of the vet life during this fun and educational camp.

April 12 – Dog Days
Discover the silly, fun world of dogs! Special focus is placed on dog communication and safety.

Hours: All camps are held from 9am to 3pm
Snacks are provided, please bring a lunch

All camp days include time in the shelter visiting adoptable dogs, cats, and small pets.

**Please note that all animal experiences are based on our current shelter population as well as the safety and comfort level of both our animals and campers.

March 31 - Science Saturday - Bees, Wasps, Honey, and Hives at Pacific Grove Museum. Explore the sweet-side of science as Science Saturday turns its attention to Bees, Wasps, Honey, and Hives. Do all bees make honey? How do you tell a wasp from a bee? Do all bees sting? Find the answers to all of your buzzing questions as you complete a craft, taste honey, and learn about some of our most important local pollinators. As always, admission to Science Saturday is free, and the event runs from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Admission to the Museum is free to everyone during Science Saturday. www.pgmuseum.org
